The Ottawa Amateur Radio Digital Group (OARDG) is an ad hoc group of radio amateurs located in the Ottawa area who believe that it is an opportune time to evolve the 40 year old analogue fm repeater technology to state-of-the-art digital radio technology which is more closely aligned with internet and modern computers. The group is loosely organized into two teams:
The Ottawa Amateur Radio Seniors (OARS) team is a group of radio amateurs responsible for the marketing, funding, procurement and promotion of digital technology in the Ottawa area.
The Ottawa Amateur Radio Technical (OART) team is a group of radio amateur who are responsible for technical arrangements, deployment, integration and operation of the digital systems in the Ottawa area.
